Summer Reading/ Math Groups

Students entering kindergarten through eighth grades work in small, age appropriate groups in an environment that is nurturing, supportive, and engaging. Students will be grouped according to age and skill level. Our teachers use highly effective, research-based methods to improve phonological processing, sight word recognition, reading rate and fluency, reading and oral language comprehension, reasoning and critical thinking, and writing and math skills.
Enrollment in our summer reading and math programs includes a comprehensive skills assessment and parent consultation.
Summer K-8, Section A
This class will meet on Saturday afternoons, from 12:30-2:30 on the following dates: 7/9, 7/16, 7/23, 7/30, 8/6, 8/13

This class will meet on Tuesday afternoons, from 4:30-6:30 on the following dates: 7/12, 7/19, 7/26, 8/2, 8/9, 8/16

This class will meet on Wednesday afternoons, from 4:30-6:30 on the following dates: 7/13, 7/20, 7/27, 8/3, 8/10, 8/17

Summer K-8, Section D
This class will meet on Thursday mornings, from 10:30-12:30 on the following dates: 7/14, 7/21, 7/28, 8/4, 8/11, 8/18

High School Courses (In-Person & Online)
All courses are kept small and are live/interactive. Classes will meet at the specified day and time. Students may attend in person or online.
*Please notes that each class has two sections: A and B. Students may register for Class A or Class B, or students can register for both. Each class will cover the same concepts but use different materials. A discount of $20 will be given when registering for both sections.
Summer Before Algebra 1
- This course is designed to review math concepts from the previous school year. Students will preview curriculum and sharpen crucial skills prior to taking Algebra 1. The total cost of each class is $250.
- Class A will meet on Thursday afternoons from 4:30-5:30 on the following dates: 7/7, 7/14, 7/21, 7/28
- Class B will meet Thursday afternoons from 4:30-5:30 on the following dates: 8/4, 8/11, 8/18, 8/25
Summer Before Geometry
- This course is designed to review math concepts from the previous school year. Students will preview curriculum and sharpen crucial skills prior to taking Geometry. The total cost of each class is $250.
- Class A will meet on Wednesday afternoons from 4:30-5:30 on the following dates: 7/6, 7/13, 7/20, 7/27
- Class B will meet Wednesday afternoons from 4:30-5:30 on the following dates: 8/3, 8/10, 8/17, 8/24

- This course is designed to review math concepts from the previous school year. Students will preview curriculum and sharpen crucial skills prior to taking Algebra 2/Trigonometry. The total cost of each class is $250.
- Class A will meet on Tuesday afternoons from 4:30-5:30 on the following dates: 7/5, 7/12, 7/19, 7/26
- Class B will meet Tuesday afternoons from 4:30-5:30 on the following dates:8/2, 8/9, 8/16, 8/23
SAT Crash Course 7A
- This is a condensed but more intensive version of our regular SAT prep course. This class will meet on Tuesday evenings, from 4:30-6:25 on the following dates: 8/2, 8/9, 8/16, 8/23 (SAT Exam 8/28)
SAT Crash Course 7B
- This is a condensed but more intensive version of our regular SAT prep course. This class will meet on Thursday evenings, from 4:30-6:25 on the following dates: 8/4, 8/11, 8/18, 8/25 (SAT Exam 8/28)
SAT Crash Course 8A
- This is a condensed but more intensive version of our regular SAT prep course. This class will meet on Wednesday evenings, from 4:30-6:25 on the following dates: 9/7, 9/14, 9/21, 9/28 (SAT Exam 10/1)
SAT Crash Course 8B
- This is a condensed but more intensive version of our regular SAT prep course. This class will meet on Thursday evenings, from 4:30-6:25 on the following dates: 9/8, 9/15, 9/22, 9/29 (SAT Exam 10/1)

- This class will meet on Tuesday evenings, from 6:30-8:25 on the following dates: 7/5, 7/12, 7/19, 7/26, 8/2, 8/9, 8/16, 8/23 (SAT Exam 8/27)
SAT Class 54B
